Specifically booked a jazz trio in December but was clear they wanted no holiday music. Cool with me as I don’t need music to play an event of purely jazz music! I tried to book myself as the drummer but couldn’t find an available piano player during the busy holiday music event season. So the always reliable Rob Siwik on Drums and the stalwart Steve Hamilton on Upright. We were in the vestibule of The Met here in Winnipeg. It changed from being too warm to too cold with the people lining up for this event
