I recently got the chance to play a set of solo guitar jazz for the residents of the Seine River Retirement Residence. You’d think I would get to do this more but, entertainment coordinators for these places tend to think singing and upbeat toe tapping makes more sense.
In the video you can see some toe and hand tapping soooooo. And really , If I was in a rest home I’d wan relaxing music not giddyap tunes.
It was also nice playing for an audience that listened and clapped. Also they knew the tunes!
Now I apologize for the sound. It was business as usual at the facility and there is a lot of background and ambient noise. I tried eq-ing it out with limited success.
