Organized by an event company called PEAC. Given the details I had, I brought way to much stuff. They wanted upbeat (how upbeat can solo guitar get) and I was under the impression that it was a large event. (It’s in the ballroom!)
Instead I was in the smallest room ever and crowded into a corner so the pedal board (mostly a looper and OC-5 to give ‘”upbeat” and volumes of music (in case of requests) and stand were tucked under my chair.
I had enough room for my amp and myself and for 2 hours all they heard was tunes I already knew, solo guitar.
Gear that night was reduced to my Ibanez AFJ957 and my new Roland Jazz Chorus – 40
