Whiteshell Hiking Part 2.

Whilst hiking last week I thought how much my wife would like it again. We did tonnes of it B.C. (before children).

She wasn’t felling to spry because she was post oral surgery and in the middle of antibiotics. So off the to the park for 2 short hikes.

First off the McHugh Lake Trail.

This is a pretty short but pretty hike. It leads to McHugh  Lake (obviously). This would be my umpteenth time down this trial as I have walked it uncounted times to fish it but only my second time as a hike.

No trip to the Whiteshell, particularly the West Hawk area, is complete with out a meal at the Night Hawk Cafe!

Leading out of the parking lot is a gentle section of the trans Canada trail.

Can you see the roughed grouse?

The limited fall colours were waning, it was a bit cool and rainy but that just enhanced the experience!
