Robert Burton offers piano lessons for music students of all ages. Robert can start piano lessons from age 5 onward. All his music and piano lessons are all private one-on-one instruction.

While students usually take their music lessons after school or work or in the evenings, we do offer daytime lessons for home schooled, shift workers and the retired

For home schooled kids, shift works and the retired, Robert can offer music lessons during the day late mornings and early afternoons

Beginner piano lessons involve correct posture when sitting at the piano, correct hand and finger shapes over the keyboard, playing the keys and musical concepts like rhythm reading and then note reading.

You can start piano lessons with only a keyboard at home.

Piano classes tend to start with the same music books (Faber, Bastien) but then can move on to RCM celebration series or methods more suited to the students interest.

While piano lessons tend to rely heavily on classical music, students can and do learn other styles of piano playing such as:

Jazz
Pop
Rock
Blues
Vocal accompaniment
